Yay!


So I was able to get all my assets and stuff over to the new computer and have been running some tests.  The first of which was seeing if the new computer could render one of the images that was unrenderable on the laptop and giving me so many headaches and if so to see how long it would take.  Well, it did.  It's not what the final form would be as I'm not a fan of the lighting in the shot, but the computer was able to render it in about an hour (there were things I think I could have done to shorten the render time).  I also re-rendered one of the original images I did for the game and it rendered much more quickly.

So... goal achieved.  I should now be able to do images the way I want and not have to keep making compromises based on technical limitations.

I'm including the image I test-rendered so you can see what it was/what was meant to be in the prologue.
