Update

Hey all, wanted to post an update as I've been pretty quiet for a while. Part of it was I was travelling end of June/early July for vacation, and then when I got back right into the routine of working a lot of overtime etc... but part of it is health related and just wanted to give an update. So toward the end of May I ended up in the ER having a hypertensive crisis. I was 170something over like 128. They sent me home with a diagnosis of vertigo and to lay off stimulants (pre-workout, energy drinks etc). About a week and a half later I was in the walk-in not knowing what was going on but knew something was seriously wrong and they diagnosed me with asthma and the need to follow-up with a cardiologist because my EKG was 'very concerning'. Well it took weeks to hear from a cardiologist and they couldn't get me in until early August. They took another EKG, asked me a ton of questions (and TBH based on past-precedence was expecting her to say nothing was wrong and I was going to have to argue/fight for them to take my concerns seriously (heart disease doesn't run in my family, it defines my family)) and comparing the EKG from the walk-in to the one they just took said: "I am very concerned. This is the EKG of someone who had a heart attack." So basically (probably the day I went to the walk-in), I 'got lucky' (their words), survived a heart attack and have been dealing with the aftermath of that. I've had a cath procedure done where they put in two stints, diagnosed with severe heart disease (though have a lipid panel so good it blew their minds and the nurse even said my cholesterol levels were better than hers (thus showing dr's need to not put so much stock in numbers on a page and listen when a patient voices concerns especially with a family history like mine...)) and have also had an echocardiogram. The good news is the 'suck/pump' of my echo is fine. They found a few small issues but they all have valid explanations that don't come down to 'you're dying' lol. All that being said though, I do have to deal with having severe heart disease that sadly went undiagnosed so long. So, that's one reason I've kind of been quiet. I've honestly been in shock since the start of August having no idea what was going on/I was going to find out etc and only now am just kind of 'coming out of it'. The good news is I've known exactly what I want to do with the next two updates since before I finished the last one and even started writing the script on vacation. I just need to finish it/get it to a point I'm happy, look at what assets I have as I'll probably need some more for the next two updates and then get grinding on CG's. No ETA at the point, work/OT does take priority. I now have a bunch of extra medical bills and moving home home when my lease here is up is looking even more challenging because my home state is just so expensive so I need to get money when I can, but I am moving forward with this update etc and hope to get it out sooner rather than later. Thank you all for your patience.
